What are cookies?

Cookies are files or data packets that can be stored on your computer (or other device enabled for Internet browsing, for example, smartphone or tablet) when visiting a website. Usually a cookie contains the name of the website from which the cookie comes from, the duration of the cookie (or an indication of the time for which the cookie will be stored on the device), and a content (number, string, etc.) , which allows it to perform its function.

aboutcookies.org.

Why do we use cookies?

We use cookies to make navigation easier and to better adapt the website to the needs of the user. Cookies can also be used to help speed up your future experiences and user activity on other websites, and are used to compile anonymous aggregate statistics that allow you to understand how users use the sites to help improve the structure and the contents of these sites.

Different kind of cookies

Technical cookies: they are cookies that are used to better user experience or provide a service requested by the user. They are not used for other purposes and are usually installed directly from the operator of the website that you are surfing. Without the use of these cookies, some operations could not be carried out or would be more complex and / or less secure (such as cookies that allow you to make and keep the user identification with the session).

Profiling cookies: cookies that are used to track the user's navigation on the network and create profiles about his tastes, habits, choices, etc. These cookies can be transmitted to the user's terminal advertising messages in line with the preferences already expressed by the user while browsing other sites.

First part cookies: cookies that are generated and used directly by the manager of the website the user is visiting.

Third part cookies: cookies that are generated and managed by parties other than the operator of the website the user is browsing.

How can I control cookies?
